Pūkana instructions:
1. Form a Circle
2. Everyone slaps their thighs to a beat. Keep this beat through the entire game!
3. Everyone chants: "Show me your Pūkana, hā, hā, Pūkana, Pūkana, Pūkana, Pūkana, Pūkana!"
4. The first player gestures to the person on their left or right and says "Pūkana!"
5. That person must then gesture to the person next to them and say "Pūkana!" with the beat.
6. After a few "Pūkana" passes, a player can pass to anyone else in the circle.
To do this, say "Auē!" (away) and point to the person they want to pass to.
*You can't say "Auē" to someone to your left or right, unless there are two players left.
7. If you get an "Auē" passed to you, you must say "Hī!" (he) to receive it.
Then, continue the game by either passing a "Pūkana", or an "Auē" to someone else.
8.You're out of the game if you mess up the beat by:
*Waiting too long to respond.
*Saying the wrong word.
*Making an unclear gesture.
*Failing to react correctly when "Auē" is passed to you.
